The answer to everything

Wherever you are in your life , in the world, in time , you are surrounded by questions. We are surrounded by a world extreme in diversity, which we do not comprehend. We are surrounded by life, by events, by people , by feelings and actions and beliefs. And in this world which flows to the left and to the right we are so many times disoriented.

Maybe you are happy now. You are in a place in which you feel happy, and complete and you have all that you desire. Everything around you makes sense and life is just as you think it should be. To you, my friend, i say that you are blessed. Blessed is the LORD , which has gives you such a great life. And please, take great care of this blessing, which is just a pearl , a pearl of great value which outweighs everything else , if put in a scale. This is your blessing my friend - the kingdom of God. And you are blessed because you have found grace and have been given admitance into the kingdom because of you faithfulness and the greatness of God's love. Enjoy the greatness of God's love , who has given you this gift , who made you find what you sought, who opened the door for you. Blessed is our LORD Jesus Christ!

But if you find yourself to be unhappy , or sad , depressed , lonely, miserable ,if you feel your life has no meaning and you have no bearing, please return to God. To you i say this: if you feel that you are lost you are simply far away from our LORD. And the distance between you and the LORD is equal to your self for the distance is you standing with your back turned towards the LORD God. However bad you may feel there is only one thing that you should do to be cured: return to God. If you do this , i promise you, everything will be better, everything will make sense. To every question there is only one answer: God. Everything is and has meaning because of our LORD Jesus Christ.

I myself have often been in doubt , or fear, i often felt loathing or despair , loneliness and misery , i have felt unimportant or unloved. But every single time i have also found out that i was feeling this way because i was away from Jesus Christ. It may sound too simple , but this is the truth. The LORD Jesus Christ is the answer to everything, the meaning for everything. Let me try to explain this further.

Starting from the beginning , everything was made by Him. As we read in the Gospel of John chapter 1: " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.[...]
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not." We can easily see from here that the reason why anything exists rather than all being just nothingness is Him. But God shows Himself to be more that a creator : He is the meaning of being. And for this we have to look back in Exodus, when God speaks to Moses. In Exodus 3 God says:" 14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you." Thus God shows Himself to be meaning of Being. So not only is the LORD the reason why everything exists , He is also the meaning of the fact that they are.

But God is so much more than that! God is not only the foundation of all existence but He is the foundation for everything else. God is reason why we have values. Why good is good and why bad is bad. God is the reason and cause for beauty and ugliness for absolute and relativity. And everything has both a cause and a meaning in God. Because everything is His, was made by Him and was made out of His love and to fulfill the greatness of His love. That's why cause and meaning are separate and why God is both cause and meaning.

And we get back to our starting point. God is the reason for everything and the answer to everything? Quite obviously, yes! And what does that mean for us? It means that wherever we are and whatever we face, we are not lost sheep. God is with us everywhere and at any time. And above all else , our life and existence has meaning in Him. Above all else He is the meaning of our lives and if you ask yourself what am i doing here? If you find yourself to be lost , if you feel you have no meaning of purpose , then stop looking. Everything you need is right beside you : God. He is the meaning of your life which is to say that fulfillment in life comes from a relationship with the LORD. And such a relationship, a true relationship with the LORD is of only one type: love. So the meaning and fulfillment here is to love God. But you cannot love Him alone. To love Him you must also love everyone else. And this is what He said to us: "37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." So the answer to everything is given by our LORD Jesus Christ here. And you know what - the truth is this is really hard. It takes a great effort to truly love the LORD and to truly love our neighbour. And we must not suppose that this is something to be done for a reward - redemption and admission into the kingdom of haven. You have to do it without any expectancy of reward - otherwise it is not love , it is just behaving in a certain way in order to obtain certain results. In this lies the hardship of this request: do this without expecting any rewards. And this, i think, will give you the greatest reward of all: the LORD. He is our rawrd - the wonderfull fact that we can be with Him, we can talk to Him, that He is there , with us is the great reard. The fact the He loves us and there is nothing else beyond His love.  And we may sometime forget how deep His love is, we may sometime forget the He is with us at all times, sometimes we may choose to neglect Him, but He  always faithful in His love for us.
